The commenters were confused. Just a moment ago, they were talking about how Chantelle and Natalia looked like the perfect pair. Now, out of nowhere, news appeared online saying Daniel was engaged to someone else.
People started wondering if Daniel and Chantelle had actually gotten divorced a long time ago. Some even questioned if Camille and Natalia had something to do with their breakup.
Everyone online had their own opinion about the situation.
Camille was confused too. She had gathered a group of reporters last night, hoping they would catch Natalia sneaking into the lounge and finding Daniel with Chantelle. Then, she planned to use those photos to create a scandal about a love triangle and drive a wedge between Chantelle and Natalia.
But those reporters didn’t get the photos she wanted. Instead, they released a story that was totally different from what she had planned.
At first, Camille was so angry that she tore up the whole bedroom. But when she saw the news about her engagement, she got so excited and she nearly fainted. She rushed to find Rowan and confirm if it was true.
"Ro, is it true that I’m engaged to Daniel?"
Rowan paused for a moment, then gave a nod. "Your photo with Mr. Wilson is everywhere. He has to give us an explanation."
"Perfect! Ro, you always treat me the best!" Camille hugged Rowan, then grabbed her bag and walked out.
She had come back to Easthan for Daniel. Now that she finally got what she wanted, she quickly forgot all the bad things that happened before.
