Chapter 236: CH: 233 The Destroyer

{Chapter: 233 The Destroyer}

The towering figure of the Destroyer marched steadily toward Old Bridge City. Each heavy step it took sent tremors through the ground, as if the ground itself feared the monster's presence. A blazing column of fire erupted from its face, sweeping across the streets like a scythe of destruction. Buildings crumbled, cars exploded, and terrified citizens ran for cover—utterly powerless against its might. The once-lively town now resembled a battlefield consumed by flames.

"You must all leave this place immediately!" Thor shouted, his voice rising above the chaos. His eyes burned with urgency. "It's here to kill me—I won't let anyone else die because of me!"

"No!" Volstagg roared, gripping his massive battle axe tightly. His beard was singed, but his spirit burned brighter than ever. "We fight with you, Thor. That thing won't take you without a battle."

"He's right!" added Fandral, sword gleaming in the firelight. "We didn't come all this way just to run away now."

"We're your friends, your comrades!" said Hogun, grim and resolute. "We stand by you, no matter what comes."

Sif's gaze was firm and unwavering. "Together until the end."

But Thor, burdened by guilt and worry, shouted, "You can't stay here! You must go—track down my brother and stop him before he causes even more devastation."

Before another word could be said, a thunderous BOOM echoed through the burning city. The Destroyer, cloaked in molten heat and fire, emerged through the smoke and rubble. Its very presence distorted the air, heat radiating off its armored body in waves. It marched forward, unstoppable, like a god of war.

Volstagg, never one to hesitate, let out a battle cry. "Die, you metal abomination!" he yelled, charging recklessly. He swung his massive axe down with all his might.
