"This radio is the one I've seen and serves as the best proof of life."
Inside the convoy's car, the main members of the team were deep in a heated discussion over Alice's note.
"Alaska?" Claire shook her head, disbelief evident in her voice.
"We have to go and see; we can't just ignore this," Alice insisted, her voice firm.
"Do you even realize what kind of journey this is going to be?" Claire seemed to oppose the idea strongly.
"I know," Alice replied, her tone unwavering. "This will be a long journey, but it's worth it."
"Now that you understand, you should also understand that you can't prove someone else is alive there," Claire said, her voice slightly rising with a mix of frustration and concern.
"These radio displays," Alice began, but Claire quickly interjected.
"These are records from six months ago. How many radio calls have we responded to? How many times have we been too late?" Claire shot back, her patience clearly wearing thin.
Alice, however, remained steadfast. "These radios show that there is no contamination there. It's safe, isolated from the rest of the world."
