Chapter 13: CH: 13 Fuss With Peggy
[Chapter: 13 Fuss With Peggy]
Peggy rose, stretching her arms and legs. As an experienced agent, she knew better than to act impulsively and strike William just yet.
"Get out," William muttered, and together they walked outside. Peggy glanced around, noting the peaceful surroundings. "So, this is where you've been hiding? A suburb, of course. No wonder no one has a clue where you are."
"The scenery is nice here," William said with a smirk. "It's the perfect place for some wild games. Care to join me?"
"Could you just drop dead?" Peggy shot William a fierce glare.
"I'm only saying what's on my mind. Why would I drop dead?"
"Where's the nearest toilet?" Peggy asked, clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
"Toilet? In a place like this? You'll have to relieve yourself the way a bird would—like our cave-dwelling ancestors, right on the spot. Don't worry, I swear I won't peek." William gave her head a playful pat.
"Can I actually trust you to keep your word?" Peggy raised an eyebrow.
"Of course I'm trustworthy, but it's you who doesn't believe me. It's troublesome, really. You could just do it the natural way, but alas." William pointed to a patch of grass ahead. "See that? That's your best option."
Peggy sighed, resigned to the fact that her choices were limited. "It's the only place I can use," she muttered. "I'm not running away, but you better not peek."
