Chapter 1756 - 1702— - 1703 Holy Sage
"Mundane beings speak of worldly matters; let everything follow the heart, dispelling falsehood to return to truth!" the mysterious Confucian True Immortal said in a deep voice.
"Dispelling falsehood to return to truth! Hahaha, so it is you, Lin Hongfu. It seems that your group too is unwilling to remain in obscurity!" The True Immortal from the Taoist School confirmed the identity of this mysterious Confucian True Immortal upon hearing his words.
A True Immortal Strong of the Confucian Gate, from the Sixth Heavenly Layer, the Great Confucian Lin Hongfu.
Within Confucianism, there is only Emperor Wenchang, a Saint of Heart who has achieved the Taoist Lord Realm; the strongest among the various Confucian Lineages could only reach the True Immortal Sixth Layer Realm at most.
Among the True Immortal strong ones of the Sixth Layer within these Confucian Lineages, one is notably famous—that is, the one known as the Wenling Layman, Lin Hongfu.
Lin Hongfu once studied the Way of Heart Teachings under the guidance of Saint Emperor Wenchang; he was undoubtedly the most outstanding disciple, peerless in his depth of knowledge in Heart Teachings—a Great Confucian renowned throughout the world, celebrated as one who could inherit Emperor Wenchang’s mantle.
Of course, there are countless strong ones in this world, including direct disciples of the Taoist Lords, yet even among the Taoist Lords’ disciples, one’s fame typically circulates only within a limited scope; to truly become renowned across the world, ultimately one relies on oneself.
And such is the case for Lin Hongfu. As the Direct Disciple of Emperor Wenchang, and a Great Confucian in the lineage of Heart Teachings, he did not follow the path laid out by the Saint of Heart as many had expected; instead, he embarked on a path completely divergent from it.
Emperor Wenchang hailed from the Great Ming Divine Dynasty, reaching the pinnacle of life within the Divine Dynasty, attaining a position of the utmost authority; therefore, he rendered his utmost aid to the Jade Emperor.
Even when the exchange between the Jade Emperor and the Witch Sect once affected Confucianism’s sacrificial authority, Emperor Wenchang still paid it no mind, firmly standing by the Jade Emperor’s side, becoming a steadfast supporter behind the Jade Emperor.
