Chapter 234: Drunk Sex



Lily turned to look at him, her eyes flashing with pent-up emotion. "My mom," she replied, her voice trembling with intensity. "She said she wants to divorce my dad."

Cage’s expression softened with understanding as he took in Lily’s distress. He reached out and gently squeezed her hand, offering her a silent gesture of support.

"I’m so sorry, Lily," he murmured, his voice filled with empathy. "That must be incredibly difficult for you."

Lily nodded, tears welling up in her eyes as she struggled to make sense of her mother’s decision. "I just don’t understand why she would do this," she admitted, her voice choked with emotion.

"Everything was finally starting to fall into place, and now... now it feels like everything’s falling apart."

Feeling the weight of Lily’s pain and vulnerability, Cage gently pulled her into his arms, offering her the comfort and solace she so desperately needed. She melted into his embrace, her tears soaking his shirt as she buried her face against his chest, seeking refuge in the warmth of his embrace.
