Remo tutted, his tongue clicking in disapproval as he firmly grabbed her hips, pulling her close against him. His movements were deliberate, circling his hips against hers, igniting a fiery sensation within her.
"Do you have any idea how much trouble you’re in, Abby?" he murmured, his voice low and dangerous. And yet, instead of feeling fear, she felt a surge of excitement coursing through her. There was something intoxicating about pushing his buttons, about tempting fate.
She shook her head in response, unable to form coherent words as his grin sent shivers down her spine. He pulled back slightly, pinning her hands to the bed with one hand while the other firmly gripped her jaw, his gaze locked with hers in a warning glare.
"Well, you’re about to find out," he declared darkly, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he leaned in to peck her lips, a sinister smile playing on his lips
Abruptly, he withdrew, creating space between them, leaving her breathless and disoriented.
Remo smoothly removed his suit jacket, revealing the sleek firearm holstered inside his shirt. With practiced ease, he placed it on the bedside table, the metallic glint catching Abby’s eye in the subdued light of the room. As she watched him handle the weapon, a mix of fear and fascination swirled within her, amplifying his already captivating presence.
Lost in her thoughts, Abby was startled when Remo’s questioning gaze pierced through her reverie.
"Do you like the gun?" he asked, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes.
Abby’s cheeks flushed at his teasing, unsure how to respond. While the sight of the gun triggered a sense of apprehension within her, there was an undeniable allure to the way Remo wielded it with confidence and control. Despite her reservations, she found herself drawn to him even more in that moment.
"Yes, it’s quite captivating," Abby commented, Remo’s gaze lingering on her with a hint of amusement. His eyes scanning her with curiosity.
"You know, Abby," he began thoughtfully, "I can’t help but notice how danger seems to intrigue you." She chuckled nervously, attempting to deflect his observation. "Oh, no—I ,"she trailed off, her laughter tinged with awkwardness.
