"No," Cage replied, his tone carefully neutral. "I’m still investigating."

But before she could voice her doubts, Cage interrupted her, his voice surprisingly gentle. "Don’t worry, Abby," he reassured her. "You have me, and as much as I hate to admit it, that Quinn guy really cares about you. You’ll be fine."
