The Twisted Obsession

Chapter 126: I need you

With a gentle nod, the nurse opened the door, revealing Abby lying motionless on the hospital bed. Remo’s heart constricted at the sight of her pale, still form, but he pushed aside his fear and stepped into the room.

As he approached Abby’s bedside, a flood of emotions washed over him: love, grief, hope, and despair all swirling together in a tumultuous whirlwind of feeling. He reached out, taking her cold, limp hand in his own

As Remo sat by Abby’s side, time seemed to blur into an endless cycle of whispered prayers and silent tears. He held onto her hand tightly, willing her to feel his presence, to sense his love surrounding her, even in her unconscious state.

In the stillness of the hospital room, Remo found solace in the rhythm of Abby’s steady breaths, a fragile lifeline tethering him to hope amidst the darkness of despair. He whispered words of encouragement, of longing, of desperate pleas for her to wake up and return to him.

But as the minutes passed and Abby remained unresponsive, Remo’s resolve began to waver. Doubt crept into his heart, whispering cruel lies of uncertainty and fear. What if Abby never woke up? What if he never got the chance to see her smile again, to hear her laughter, to hold her in his arms?

The weight of his emotions threatened to overwhelm him as he grappled with the enormity of their situation. He felt lost, adrift in a sea of uncertainty, his hopes and dreams slipping through his fingers like grains of sand.

But amidst the despair, a tiny spark of hope flickered in Remo’s heart, refusing to be extinguished. He clung to that flicker of light with all his might, vowing to never give up on Abby, to keep fighting for her until she opened her eyes and returned to him, where she belonged.

And as he sat by her bedside, holding onto that fragile thread of hope, Remo whispered the words he had spoken a thousand times before, willing them to reach Abby’s unconscious mind and awaken her from the depths of her coma. "I need you, Abby," he murmured softly, his voice filled with unwavering determination. "Please, come back to me. I need you."

As Remo’s words hung in the air, a heavy silence enveloped the hospital room, broken only by the soft hum of medical equipment and the gentle rise and fall of Abby’s chest. In the stillness of the moment, Remo felt as if time had come to a standstill, suspended in a fragile balance between hope and despair.
