"I hope that they are not mad at you," Lu Wei asked, his eyes could not hide the worry and anxiety in his eyes.
"I can’t make out their attitude from the phone, but I am sure my grandfather feels tensed knowing I am cohabiting with you," Gu Shishi replied, as she prepared to leave the house.
Lu Wei’s palms turned sweaty. He was worried on behalf of Gu Shishi. He did not want to be the reason the relationship between her grandparents and her turned sour.
"I will drop you home," Lu Wei agreed, before he went into his room to put on proper clothes.
"Shall we leave?" Lu Wei asked, leading her out of the condo.
After an hour-drive, they finally arrived at the Gu’s family house.
"Master, Madam, Young Miss has returned," one of the maids who saw Gu Shishi exit the car exclaimed with all her might, rushing into the mansion, while panting.
Gu Fen who was seated on one of the sofas, deep in thought sprang up to her feet at once.
"Is she truly back?" Gu Fen grabbed the maid at once, shaking her due to excitement.
"Yes, Madam, I have seen Young Miss, she is on her way into the house now, she has returned," the maid replied, not feeling bothered about the way she was pushed about by Gu Fen.
