Chapter 253: Return Home
Song Recommendation: Thick Of It All By Alan Walker
"Is it only an apology you want to tender?" Li Qiang asked, he was sure that Wu Tang had something else to say.
Wu Tang sighed. It was clear that he had to say what was on his mind, or else, neither he nor Li Qiang would feel at peace.
"I wish to be friends with you again, I miss our friendship, I want us to return to the way we were previously, before all the fighting began," Wu Tang blurted out, staring at Li Qiang with misty eyes.
It is said that men do not cry as it strongly suggests that they are weak. But these two grown men, heading the two biggest corporations in China were bawling their eyes currently.
Li Qiang rose from his seat, his eyes wet with tears, which was very rare. The only time Li Qiang could vividly recall crying was when his parents died, after then, he knew he was numb to the action, ’crying.’
"Wu Tang, I missed our friendship, I missed the way we related, I was devastated when I found out you left, it was even more heartbreaking when I discovered that you were responsible for what happened five years ago, but I want you to know that I don’t find fault in you."
Li Qiang squatted, staring straight into Wu Tang’s eyes.
"Let’s not fight anymore, okay?" Li Qiang extended his palms for a handshake.
Wu Tang stared at the extended palms, completely shocked because Li Qiang had agreed easily.
"Are you in or not?" Li Qiang asked with a smile, he knew Wu Tang would accept it.
