Chapter 10: Inside the mine
For almost five to six minutes, Shaan had been following Robin Hood, who was walking ahead of him, but strangely, he hadn’t seen anything like what Robin Hood had mentioned earlier. There were only piles of rocks and paths that kept branching off, making Shaan increasingly confused as he went deeper into the cave."
"Robin Hood, are you sure there’s something near here?"
[Yes, I’m very sure. I have a feeling there’s something up ahead.] Robin Hood nodded his head. [Be patient, I’m sure we will find crystal sapphire as soon as possible.]
’I just hope what Robin Hood told me is true.’
After walking a few minutes, Shaan finally saw something not far from his position. At first glance, there was a brown box that was bigger than the suitcase the officer was holding. However, there was something strange. On the brown box, there was an iron chain wrapped around the surface of the box like a treasure box.
[Shaan, that box. It might contain the Sapphire crystal stone that you are looking for.] Robin Hood said enthusiastically. [We should check it out before anyone else sees it.]
"Alright, I agree with you."
Without much delay, Shaan and Robin Hood immediately approached the box and tried to open the iron chain wrapped around the surface of the box. However, the chain was thick and hard enough that Shaan had difficulty opening it. He then decided to break the chain using his dual swords.
’Crack-Crack!’
With a single blow from Shaan, the chains shattered and fragments scattered on the floor. Good, there seemed to be no more obstacles for Shaan to open this box, so with great enthusiasm, he immediately looked at the contents of the box, hoping that he could get the Sapphire crystal stone and quickly complete his task here.
"Huh? No, no, it can’t be." Shaan once again turned his head into the box. "What the heck, it turns out that this box is empty."
Robin Hood frowned. [Strange, how can there be an empty box in a cave like- Hey, watch out!]
