Chapter 31: Encounter, Reunion (30)
Maybe it was the director’s overly firm attitude that stunned Wang into silence, leaving him unable to come up with a rebuttal. He hesitated, but the cries of the woman in labor grew louder and louder, so reluctantly, Wang finally signed the document. The director then said to the doctor, "Go on, I’ll bear the responsibility!"
The doctor discreetly wiped away a tear and went in with the nurse.
The onlookers gradually dispersed. Although Tu Hengsha also left with them, she still had her mind on the matter and hadn’t gone far. She was quite worried, thinking, "I just hope this child can be born smoothly. Without equipment and instruments, it’s really concerning! If anything goes wrong, even if the document is signed, Wang might still cause trouble, and the doctor would be the one to suffer!"
Su Ronggui did not give her a response.

He stood in front of her, staring at her with dark, somber eyes.
She felt a bit uncomfortable being watched, so she patted the ground beside her and asked, "Do you want to sit down and wait?"
He averted his gaze but then looked back at her, "Hmm," he said with a sigh, "Don’t you think you’re a little careless?"
