Wine God Sibos, dragging his battered body, returned to the Celestial Kingdom, submerging himself in the warm and comfortable liquor, his heart still thumping relentlessly as death had nearly seized his throat a short while ago.

The fear was lingering; the simple words could not capture the state of Sibos’ confidence at this moment.

"Who is she, really? Is she not an incarnation of a Divine walking in the Mortal World?"

The warm liquor slowly healed the severe wounds on Sibos’ body, as he trembled in the wine, causing ripples to stir.

"What exactly is this law she mentioned? And the gods on the high mountains?"

Fear, like residual venom left by snakes, persisted in tormenting his spirit. Sibos still shivered as he recalled every word spoken by the golden-haired woman.

Some fears are merely fleeting scares that gradually dilute over time, becoming topics of conversation during bouts of drinking and merriment. Sibos had experienced fear before, in a war that had nearly devastated the Country of Divines. But they had emerged victorious, and the fear dissolved into pleasant memories in the wine.

Yet some fears are different, they penetrate deep into the bones, pierce the heart—they are soul-wrenching traumas that not every wound heals over time.

The fear Solamus instilled in Sibos was deeply engraved like this.
