Chapter 305 - 263: Witch in the Forest
This was the Golden Age when the Gods walked the earth.
Every inch of the world was the ground over which the Divine tread.
Sola had left that Coastal City; she stood in the sunshine that bathed the earth, gazing at the scattered Human Kingdoms and city-states below, selecting her next destination.
Before long, she set her eyes on a tiny nation situated in a forest clearing.
This small state was but a vassal to a larger realm; it offered loyalty to the larger kingdom’s Monarch along with a variety of riches, while the larger nation abided by ancient covenants set by ancestors, providing due protection for the smaller state and conferring legitimacy to its Monarch.
The citizens of this small state lived orderly lives, though not wealthy ones.
The phrase "a contented and secure nation" did not exactly fit this small state, but Sola could find no better words.
Sola paused mid-air, connecting threads of countless golden lines, as if seeing the distant future, tracing the path of destiny.
Finally, Sola nodded her head, transformed into a beam of light, and descended just outside a village of this small nation.
She found herself in the Secret Forest, peering through the gaps in the trees at the peaceful village before her; this small nation had long been without war, and with its narrow territories and sparse population, slaves were rare.
Sola ventured deeper into the lush forest, knowing she would encounter several Divinities in this small nation. Now, she was to write a new story here and quietly await the arrival of those Divinities in the stream of time.
