Chapter 6 Poisoning
Dong Zhiping admired, "I really envy your open-mindedness."
"What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. If you were talked about like this every day, you would develop a heart that’s extremely resilient to stress too."
Dong Zhiping and Yan Yutong both laughed.
"It seems Mr. Qin doesn’t take those rumors seriously at all, which is best. It’s their mouths, let them talk as they please."
Dong Zhiping extended his hand and said, "If you don’t mind, let’s be friends."
Qin Yi smiled, reached out, and shook hands with Dong Zhiping.
"A handshake for friendship. Now, we’re friends. If anyone dares badmouth you in front of me, I promise I’ll slap them." Dong Zhiping said, patting his chest while laughing.
Qin Yi smiled again. He used to care a lot about those rumors, but now he couldn’t care less.
"It’s almost time for a meal, let me treat you." Dong Zhiping suggested.
Qin Yi waved his hand and said, "No need, I have to get back soon. Let’s have a meal another day."
