Chapter 5 Misunderstanding
The beautiful woman was full of panic and looked at Qin Yi pleadingly, "Please, don’t hurt Little Rui. We’ll give you however much money you want."
Qin Yi slightly frowned and said in a deep voice, "Step back."
"What exactly do you want to do?" The man stared angrily at Qin Yi.
"We’ll step back, we’ll step back, just please don’t hurt Little Rui." The woman pulled the man backward in a panic.
"Put Little Rui down, or I’ll call the police." The woman in her forties, who had fallen hard, got up and yelled at Qin Yi.
"Shut up!" the man said in a deep voice.
When Qin Yi had first taken Little Rui into his arms, he slightly frowned, initially thinking she was only having an allergic reaction to pollen. But now it seemed that was not the case at all—Little Rui was actually poisoned, and it was a deliberate act, not food poisoning.
Little Rui had already fainted, her small face pale like a broken doll. Qin Yi’s eyes were cold. Who could be so cruel to poison such a cute child?
Qin Yi held Little Rui’s cold little hand, white light flowing in his palm, entering softly through her pores. Qin Yi’s gaze was serious—Little Rui was too young, her meridians fragile, he had to be careful.
Poof!
