Chapter 151: A DIVORCE
Catherine returned to the Mansion immediately after the tea party.
"Welcome back, mama," Aristia and Alaric greeted with smiles.
Catherine smiled back at them.
Her lady-in-waiting, Melanie, who had not gone with her to the Oswalt Mansion, was also outside.
"Welcome back, Cathy." Wilson smiled as he helped her from the carriage like a gentleman. His brows furrowed when he noticed her expression.
They headed inside the mansion. Coincidentally, their children had been on their breaks from their classes but had now returned to continue their lesson.
Wilson followed her to their bedroom. Melanie closed the door and didn’t enter their chambers, giving the couple privacy.
"Did something happen at the tea party?" Wilson asked, watching his wife go to sit on the bed.
"Marchioness Oswalt is getting a divorce," Catherine stated calmly.
Wilson raised his brows. "She hasn’t informed the Marquis yet." He said it so surely. There was no way he wouldn’t know if she had told anyone.
Catherine nodded to confirm his words. "She hasn’t. She seems to want to talk to the king first."
