Chapter 142: UNUSUAL OCCURRENCE
"T-the princess manifested aura!" Captain Hugh lowered his voice when he uttered the second part of his sentence. However, it still came out strongly.
"W-what? Impossible!" Catherine covered her mouth in disbelief, but from her husband’s and the Captain’s reactions, she could tell it wasn’t a joke.
Her eyes moved to Aristia, then to her husband, then to the captain and back to Aristia.
"Who has aura?" Aristia’s expression was a little dumb. Her parents could have laughed at the novel expression if not for the seriousness of the situation.
Alaric’s mouth was just wide open. If Aristia was not shocked out of her mind, she would have laughed at the expression on his face.
Owen had gotten up from the bench when he had seen Wilson and Catherine rushing over. Now that he witnessed this and heard the captain’s question, his eyes narrowed. He had confirmed his speculation.
Back in the restaurant when Aristia was warning Dahlia about her office, he had noticed something that resembled aura but it had been so faint that he hadn’t realized what it was.
The training obviously couldn’t continue after the shocking discovery so they left the training ground and headed to the parlor to discuss the matter.
"How is it that your daughter possesses aura, Wilson?" Captain Hugh Lancelot asked immediately his backside touched the seat, not even wasting a second more.
"That, I do not know. This is the first time this has happened." Wilson replied, shaking his head and looking lost in thought.
Neither of them knew how it was possible. They were all trying to make sense of the situation.
