Chapter 141: FAT PRINCESS
Aristia and Adeline returned home to the mansion. The sun had just set.
By the time Aristia arrived home, she discovered that her mother had left for a tea party at the Kiran Mansion and Wilson and Alaric were not in the mansion. She was the only member of the family at home.
[Mama is bound to hear about what happened.]
But it was necessary for her to do what she did otherwise the nobles would begin to think they were allowed to do whatever they wanted because of their status.
They would think the commoners were obligated to endure whatever treatment they were subjected to by them. That was already what was happening. That was why she decided to nip it at the bud.
Aristia finally reached her room and entered. She stopped in front of the bed and turned to Adeline, "Do you think what I did was wrong, Linny?" She didn’t really need her opinion. She just wanted to know what Adeline thought.
"Not at all, " Adeline replied and shook her head. She agreed with what the princess did. "I think Princess did the right thing."
Even though she didn’t care about what the nobles or Aristocrats did, she supported Aristia.
Aristia nodded her head in satisfaction and said surely, "Of course I did not make the wrong decision." She peeked up at Adeline. "But, aren’t you just worried that... the nobles will taint my reputation?" She sat on the bed and asked curiously.
Adeline shook her head. "I’m not worried."
"Why?" Aristia asked curiously. She thought Adeline cared a lot about her.
