Chapter 92
“So, Kang In-hyuk and Seo Da-rae ended up like that.”
Left alone, Tae-seo placed his hand on his belly and recalled what had happened earlier. Kang In-hyuk had confessed to him, and Seo Da-rae had been giving his attention to Kang Se-heon, so he’d expected their relationship to fall apart. Still, seeing it with his own eyes today left a bad taste in his mouth.
“They used to be glued to each other.”
When he was in the mix, they acted like they couldn’t live without each other.
Now it just made everything taste bitter.
“I really prefer not to care about any of this...”
Tae-seo’s muttered words came back like a boomerang and pressed down heavily on his chest. As if to shake off the thought, he patted his belly.
Lately, every time his mood soured, his belly would start to tense up. It wasn’t anything visibly dramatic—just slightly firmer than usual—but to Tae-seo, it felt significant.
He hadn’t even known this was what people called belly tightening. Before, he’d just lie down if he was tired, and when he was in a bad mood, his stomach would ache faintly. But at some point, that shifted into a tight, clenching sensation.
He gently rubbed his belly to soothe it. It seemed to help a little, but not enough. Tae-seo closed his eyes and focused on the pheromones. He had armored himself this morning in Kang Se-heon’s clothes, but maybe the pheromones had already faded. The faint traces that had wrapped around him earlier were no longer noticeable.
“That’s disappointing.”
He should’ve asked Se-heon to release more pheromones this morning. At home, he was so used to the constant presence of Se-heon’s pheromones that the thought hadn’t even crossed his mind.
