Chapter 66
In the underground parking lot of the hospital, Kang Se-heon took the documents handed to him by his secretary one by one, skimming through them.
"How transparent."
The only one who understood the meaning behind Kang Se-heon's cryptic remark was the secretary who had handed him the documents. The driver merely glanced at Se-heon through the rearview mirror before returning his eyes to the road. What Se-heon was looking at was the record of Seo Da-rae’s purchases just days before Tae-seo collapsed. The document contained detailed information—not just about what was acquired, but also the secretive method by which it was obtained and the exact location where it was sold.
"At school, he’s considered a quiet and diligent student. He does a lot of good deeds and has the trust of the professors."
"Why would such a quiet and diligent student do this?"
"Shall I investigate further?"
Originally, what Kang Se-heon had ordered was an investigation into the cause of Tae-seo’s collapse. However, the secretary had taken the initiative to suggest expanding the scope beyond just this incident.
What kind of grudge had led Seo Da-rae to do such a thing to Tae-seo, who had only just become an Omega? And what exactly was the tangled relationship between Seo Da-rae, Kang In-hyuk, and Tae-seo?
As the secretary waited for Se-heon’s response, he fell into thought.
He had always been aware that Tae-seo attended the same school as his cousin, but he had never paid much attention to it. However, after witnessing In-hyuk's reaction upon discovering Tae-seo in his own home, as well as the way he had continued bringing him up afterward, it was clear that this matter could no longer be ignored.
"Look into it. And include that friend, Park Han-soo, as well."
Since they called each other friends, there had to be some connection.
