"The CEO is waiting for you."
Han Mi-sun, visiting the hotel after a long time, followed the secretary’s guidance. As she raised her hand to remove the sunglasses that covered half of her face, she suddenly bumped into something.
“Ah!”
The man passing by had been carrying something, and when their arms collided, Han Mi-sun let out a short scream.
"I’m sorry."
As she turned around, she realized the man had been unable to see properly because of the large bouquet in his arms. It wasn’t a hard collision, just a light brush of the flowers against her arm, so she waved it off, telling him she was fine. The man bowed again and quickly walked away.
However, Han Mi-sun stood there, tilting her head slightly as she watched his retreating back.
"Could that be Tae-seo?"
The bouquet had been so large that it had obscured half of his face, so she couldn’t be sure. She considered following him, but then decided against it. If she was mistaken, it would be an unnecessary detour. After all, she wasn’t here to meet Tae-seo today but someone else.
She immediately got into the elevator and went up. Looking at her reflection in the elevator doors, she repeatedly pursed and relaxed her lips, wiping away the heavy makeup under her eyes with her ring finger as she muttered to herself.
"I need to get a definite answer, no matter what."
Lately, Han Mi-sun had been uneasy, unable to eat or sleep properly. When she tried to lie down at night, thoughts of Seo Da-rae, «N.o.v.e.l.i.g.h.t» who was staying at her son’s house, filled her mind. During the day, her thoughts were consumed by Kang Se-heon, making it hard for her to focus on anything.
