"Who would’ve thought we’d end up in a situation like this? Isn’t it surprising for you too?"
"It is a bit sudden."
At Seo Eun-hee’s question, Kang Jin-han nodded. He had thought his son was too absorbed in his work to care about anything else, yet today, he had called—saying he wanted to introduce someone he was seeing.
"There was no reason to drag it out."
"So, the person you mentioned before, the one you said you wanted to live with—is it them?"
Kang Se-heon silently nodded, his gaze shifting toward the phone resting on the table. He was waiting for a message.

"Does your aunt know?"
At a previous gathering, Han Mi-sun had insisted on setting up a meeting for Kang Se-heon. She had wanted to introduce him to the daughter of a well-respected professor, a girl she had known for a long time. His own parents hadn’t shown much interest in his marriage prospects, yet Mi-sun had taken it upon herself to arrange things, making everyone wonder what her true intentions were.
"I’m not sure."
"Well, if she knew, she would’ve told us first."
It was unlikely that Se-heon had personally spoken to Mi-sun about it. It was probably just a coincidence that the timing overlapped. Seo Eun-hee quickly changed the subject.
