Chapter 31
Yoon Tae-seo averted his gaze as he caught the faint smile on Kang Se-heon's lips. Since Se-heon had said it wasn’t a bad idea, what was there to argue about? Well, to be honest, the fact that he hadn’t been outright rejected didn’t feel bad either.
No, saying ‘not bad’ is way too easygoing.
Realizing his own complacency a beat too late, Tae-seo lightly tapped his forehead to snap himself back to reality. He couldn’t just drift along like this. Marriage wasn’t something simple, and having a child was an even more difficult and complicated matter.
So why couldn’t he stop the atmosphere from turning so... soft?
At that moment, Kang Se-heon spoke, as if he had sensed Tae-seo’s tangled emotions without even looking at him.
“I’ll give you all the time you need to think.”
“I’ve already been thinking about it a lot.”
All he had done today was send Se-heon a simple What are you doing? text, and somehow, they ended up meeting. But Tae-seo had been mulling over this endlessly—trying to take it lightly, trying to imagine a future where he had the baby.
“The more I think about it, the harder it gets.”
Resting his chin on his hand, Tae-seo let out a shallow sigh.
“Did you tell your parents?”
“I haven’t really seen them since the last time.”
