The scene was horrifying to watch. First, whatever poison he used paralysed them, then melted them chillingly into liquid goo. And all this, according to what was known, was done by him because he was looking for the daughters of one of his loved ones, Old Ha.
He found them and left with them after that. He didn't do it because of the Ensi Demihuman Imperial Empire. People were reminded once again that Kailen Darkhaven was not a hero. He only acted in self-interest and that of those in his circle.
