Chapter 682. Pleasure
Kailen was currently seated by Harrison Fordey’s side.
Harrison did not spare any words. He was sincerely being honest.
The alchemy association head said. He had a satisfied expression on his face. He looked like he would brag about it for the rest of his life.
Alita shook her head in relief.
Kailen was The Mythical Alchemist. Technically, the secondary Carrier alliance general HQ was supposed to identify someone of his caliber and make him join them.
Although the UBA, VUA and SCA were all under the umbrella of the Universe Alliance, and were united, they naturally competed among each other. It was natural for such things to happen.
Kailen simply smiled and nodded at their words. In such a situation, rejecting compliments would be too uncivil, outright accepting them too was not his style. Harrison and the others nodded with admiration at his calm and dignified demeanor.
But they remembered what he had pulled off today. This reinforced the thoughts about Kailen that he was simply a once in an era prodigy who could not be viewed even with the lens of geniuses.
" Black Flask, I am certain you are already aware of the benefits one can enjoy as a core member of the SCA general HQ?" Harrison asked Kailen.
" Call me Harrison" Harrison replied.
" Call me Kailen as well"
Harrison continued "Then I won’t waste your time going over it again. We can only hope that you assist us in times of your convenience to make some alchemical products and also assist us with some runic artifacts and arrays. There’s no need to put pressure on yourself. You can do so at any time you want. We understand that cultivation is of utmost importance to you"
"In other words, I can choose to craft alchemical products and runic artifacts at any time I want. I can even decide to do that every ten years if I want, unlike the other core members. This means I can focus fully on cultivation. Who would have thought that things would have turned out better than I expected. But, I suppose I could make a couple of alchemical products and runic artifacts for them before I officially enter into long term seclusion"
"Thank you, Harrison," Kailen said.
He added apologetically.
Kailen thought " This man and I will really get along"
Harrison gestured to one of the higher ups, a female from the witch race to lead Kailen to the residential district of the SCA HQ region.
Before Kailen left, he sent thought transmissions to Legoland and the others that he was leaving and he would be entering into seclusion right when he left. They replied and told him to not take too long in seclusion.
" He will most likely enter seclusion. I wonder how powerful he will be the next time he reappears. The vimodials are becoming more violent after all. The earlier he joins the universe supremes, the better it will be for all of us" Harrison thought.
He definitely didn’t know the kind of threats the Supremes were handling. He was not strong enough to know. But considering the kind of vimodial threats his colleagues and himself were encountering, he could only imagine how terrifying the vimodials the supremes were dealing with definitely was.
Things were not looking too good for the Universe Alliance.
