His ruthlessness when crossed bordered toward villainy, but if one did not come looking for trouble from him, he was simply a quiet young man with an ambition to be strong.
Also, if one was a threat to him, he would simply deem you someone to be eliminated. That's all. He didn't care what others thought of him. He simply did what benefited him and those he cared about.
Kailen naturally gleaned the man's thoughts with emotional resonance by studying his subtle facial expressions.

"I've not achieved my goal of standing at the peak of the universe yet, but I've really come a long way," Kailen chuckled inwardly"I wish Arrie was here with me. Too bad she's in seclusion. She would have probably bawled her eyes out in tears."
His gaze returned to the higher-ups of the SCA. "Seniors, please…" Kailen said politely.
The eyes of the seniors flashed with admiration. What a remarkable man. He was godlike, but not arrogant.
"Welcome to the SCA general HQ, Black Flask Darkhaven. Please, have a seat," Harrison Fordey said.
Kailen sat right next to him. Everyone knew that Kailen Darkhaven was now a core member of the SCA general HQ. Even though he was not the president, he would be treated with extreme importance by the SCA.
"Let the rest of the competitions continue," Harrison said.
Runesmith Alita, who was also staring at the Mythical Alchemist in admiration, nodded to the President's words. But everyone knew: no one was in the mood for the rest of the competitions anymore. Not after they had just witnessed a mythical feat.
Yet, the competition had to go on.
