Kailen came out of the shower as his towel hung around his neck, his gaze tracing back to the system’s issued mission.
’’There’s no use arguing with the system. I guess I have no choice but to attend the university’’ Kailen sighed. He honestly felt like it was a waste of time, enrolling in the university to learn how to have fun?
’’What kind of absurd reason is that?’’ He complained. This system was just too unpredictable. Kailen knew the system had a goal in mind for him. However he could not yet put a finger on what exactly it was.
’’Anytime I question the system concerning its origin, it remains completely silent or rather ignores me... ’’ Kailen navigated his way to his bed, his disheveled head finally touching the sheets.
Before he closed his eyes to sleep, his thoughts lingered on one last thing he had noticed about the system.
’’Whenever it communicates, it feels like I’m interacting with some sentient lifeform rather than a programmed software ’’
He he yawned , finally closing his eyes’’ There’s no need to dwell on these thoughts. As long as I’m able to grow stronger, that’s enough for me’’
Kailen finally drifted off.
