Just as Dale Land went to open the door, Julia Land had already put on a mask. They were still in the evaluation phase of Carson Dunn and couldn’t let him recognize them.
Julia occasionally attended company events years ago, and she couldn’t guarantee whether her photos had been seen by members of the Dunn Family.
James Thompson, having been out of the public eye for over a decade, didn’t need to wear a mask.
"Mom, Dad, this is Carson, and these two are Carson’s parents," Dale Land introduced.
Julia smiled and stood up, "Mr. Dunn, Mrs. Dunn, please have a seat."
Her voice was raspy, which led the Dunn Family to assume Julia was ill, hence the mask.
Carson Dunn looked a little tense at this moment, "Uncle, Auntie, hello, I’m Dale’s boyfriend, Carson Dunn."
Julia smiled faintly and invited them to sit down.
Lorenzo Thornton, in the brief time since entering the house, had already sized up Little Dale’s parents and their home.
Little Dale’s parents didn’t seem too bad in demeanor.
His gaze then fell on a young boy on the sofa, who was delightfully chomping on a plain white bun, showing his little white teeth.
