In the ward, Yan Ye was lying on the bed, eyes closed in a deep sleep. Although the autumn air was crisp and refreshing, his forehead was still beaded with sweat.
He had a fever, and even after getting an antipyretic injection a long time ago, the sweat still continued as his body temperature gradually dropped.
Lin Qiushu was seated at his bedside, gently wiping the sweat off his forehead with a towel in her hand.

An Hao didn’t mind in the slightest. "I think that’s perfectly fine. Honestly, hearing you call me sister-in-law has always felt a bit awkward. From now on, let’s just call each other by our names."
"Isn’t that a bit inappropriate?" Lin Qiushu glanced hesitantly at Qin Jian.
"It’s up to you two. As long as you don’t feel awkward, it’s fine by me," Qin Jian said, not planning to interfere in matters like this.
"I think it’s great. Let’s stick to using names from now on—it’ll save us all some awkwardness." The voice came from Yan Ye, who had slowly opened his eyes and spoke hoarsely from his parched throat.
