Chapter 1494: No time
"Damn you, dragon god... if you did anything to them..." Rain thought while clenching his teeth.
Rain didn’t have any more time to waste... he was counting that the dragon god wouldn’t intervene this time, and he knew that his friends didn’t have the skills to absorb the knowledge of another machine god so fast... there was only one explanation.
In the end, Rain took a deep breath and then looked at Rain looking at him while the data eraser cannon was getting ready... he wished that he could finish things off without showing that, but it couldn’t be helped. His friends wouldn’t let the dragon leave that easily... he had to teleport to their location as fast as possible.
"Rain, we can buy you some time while you prepare," Loar said. "We can weaken the cannon, and you won’t have to show any hidden card."
"I still have some uses for you guys, and none of you will survive if you get hit by this," Rain said. "The trump card of a machine god can’t be resisted using normal means."
Rain put his hands forward and then equipped the right skills... he didn’t know if that was going to work, but it was an idea that he had that could work against all the machine gods... to some extent. At least in theory, it was supposed to work.
Rain’s hands began to glow as mana around began to gather around it like particles of light... Rais showed a bit of surprise since he wasn’t supposed to have any control over the mana on his base... it was impossible that he obtained control along the fight either... so it seemed that he was receiving it from someone else.
"This mana... is too pure to belong to someone... where are you receiving it from?" Rais asked.
"From your ass," Rain said, and then he suddenly received a massive boost of mana that made his body glow with power, then he lowered his stance. "Receive the power and anger of the many worlds that you assholes destroyed."
In preparation for the upcoming battles, Rain checked all the planets that he had been to and tried to communicate with their spirits... some of them were dead and had no chance of having life ever again, and some of them didn’t want to interact with him since they knew his enemy, but some of them agreed to work with him as long as he tried to revive them when he was done with the machine gods.
That was going to be a difficult task, but Rain wouldn’t mind as long as he obtained enough power to defeat the machine gods... they took the knowledge and power of countless civilizations, but they could only use so many of them each.
Upon realizing that fact, Rais decided to unleash his attack... even if it wasn’t at full power yet... A massive cannon of energy that only had one goal was fired toward Rain: erase everything it touched from existence.
