Chapter 1493: Jinxed
Rais was actually losing a battle of information extraction against Rain. He was losing in the area where he was supposed to be the very best... Finding the reason for that was very simple. Even if the information wasn’t obvious, just a quick look would be enough. However, the smile of satisfaction on Rain’s face enraged the machine god... even though Rain was covered in blood and a bunch of his bones were broken... that still pissed Rais off, very much so.
Rain teleported in front of Rain and then barraged his face with countless punches and then added kicks to his stomach... Rain’s body was sent from one side to the other with each impact, but the damage wasn’t piling up... something was off, and soon Rais realized that Rain’s stance was the same... his palms together, and he was still using his technique... it didn’t take long for Rais to realize that the rain technique was decreasing the power of his attacks just before he landed on Rain... in that brief fraction of a second the water particles appeared, made the attacks lose power, and they also extracted information from Rais’ body.
The transcendental Human path was updated.

"It was about damn time, overseer... just how incompetent can you be?" Rain asked. "Anyway, don’t mind me. Keeping attacking like a retard. You can use other techniques, too. I will learn them in no time."
It was obvious that Rain was taunting Rais... but it was obvious that he wasn’t just lying. The best way to annoy the opponent was to say the last thing that they wanted to hear and to make it possible to happen as well...
"Enough!" Rais shouted.
The digital domain surrounding them began to tremble and glitch, the very fabric of the digital landscape warping and distorting in response to the machine god’s growing anger and frustration. It was a sight to behold, the once pristine and orderly realm now descending into chaos and disorder as Rais’ emotions threatened to overwhelm his carefully constructed facade of control.
Unlike Hilo, who found excitement and exhilaration in the heat of battle, Rais was a being of logic and calculation—a being who prized order and predictability above all else. For him, combat was not a source of pleasure or enjoyment but a necessary means to an end—a way to achieve his goals and objectives with ruthless efficiency and precision.
