Lucas stood in the middle of the magnificent Throne Room, gazing with satisfaction at the massacre that had just ended. Thirty minutes ago, five Lords with a total of 1,500 units had attacked his castle with the certainty of victory. Now, there were only corpses scattered around the castle walls, and fresh blood flowing through the channels that had been prepared to strengthen the Blood Castle Foundation.
"My King," Selena approached with elegant steps, her once pristine black dress now stained with the blood of the enemy. "This massacre... is truly magnificent. But there is something more interesting than just victory."
Lucas looked at Selena with eyes still gleaming with the euphoria of war. "What do you mean?"
"The souls of the five Lords and their elite units," Selena pointed to the Soul Forge that was now pulsing with a much more intense energy. "The quality of the souls we just obtained is... unprecedented. Coupled with the newly created Abyssal Commander, My King now has enough power for more... ambitious things."
