Lucas stared at the system notification with a dangerous glint in his eyes. Five Lords had united to destroy him—an honor he had never imagined. But instead of feeling threatened, he felt excitement course through his blood like sweet poison.
"Selena, how long will it take us to fully activate the Soul Forge?" he asked, watching the anvil still pulsating with dark energy.
"With the souls available, My King can create one Lich in ten minutes," Selena replied in a low, melodious voice. "But I sense something different about this evolution. The energy released is too intense to be a mere tier upgrade."
Lucas smiled—a smile that would make even a demon shudder. "You’re right. This isn’t just an ordinary evolution."
Suddenly, the floor beneath their feet began to vibrate with more intensity than before. The walls of the lair that had turned into obsidian began to stretch and expand. The previously modest-sized dark crystals now grew into towering, giant pillars.
