Chapter 15 Proposal
Samuel Grant slowly walked over and suddenly sat by the bed, gently touching her head: "Daisy, it’s been tough for you during this time."
Daisy Stone didn’t know why, but a trace of fear arose in her heart: "Samuel Grant, has something happened?"
Samuel’s expression appeared somewhat heavy: "The doctor told me that your unstable emotions are causing problems with your body. Currently, there might be a risk of miscarriage; we might not be able to keep our baby."
Unexpectedly, upon hearing the news, Daisy’s first reaction was not sadness but a sense of relief.
She realized that this unborn child was the last bond connecting the two of them.
