Chapter 24: Altercations
Three of the blood thirsty hyenas are running in the frontline of the group, Amari charges towards them. When in distance he kicks the one in the middle of the three to where it came from. The other two run past him and head for Apollo.
’’Two of them are coming in front of you!’’
Apollo swings his staff aimlessly in front of him, that causes the hyenas to stop at a distance being cautious of the weapon. Amari runs to help him but is followed by the group of hyenas running in full speed.
’’Follow the sound Apollo!’’
’’What?!!’’ He keeps swinging the staffs.
’’Follow the noise they make!! Use...ears!!’’
When Amari finally reach the ones that are trying to attack Apollo. He grabs the two back legs of one of them and uses his full strength to swing it against the other hyena that’s next to it.
After using one hyena as weapon to hit the other one, he sends the one he’s holding the direction leaving them both crying in pain. Apollo is still swinging his staff aimlessly but Amari stops him by grabbing the staff mid swing.
’’Apollo!! Focus!! Use your other senses!!’’
’’My other senses?’’
’’More are coming!’’
’’My other senses?’’ he whispers to himself.
