It sounded weird, but it was true. The kiss had both an ice-cream and a chicken nugget flavour to it. And the smell too, even though the scent from the bloody soda was prevalent.

He smiled at her and started boasting, "What else did you expect? It’s me we’re talking about, after all."

"No. It’s not you. It’s the ice-cream and the... What are they?" she asked, gesturing to the McLonald’s bucket.

"Chicken nuggets! I think I told you their name, didn’t I?"

"You did. It’s the nangets bit I was forgetting."

Elio burst out laughing. "It’s not nangets, dammit! It’s nuggets."

"Nuggets?"
