Chapter 33. Mana Theory (2)
"From your lowly cadets to the greatest Slayers at the head of the Eight Great Families, power is earned by mastering the art of frequency manipulation. That journey never ends."
He began walking between desks as he spoke.
"Consider the Techniques you use in battle against outer-world demons. Execution isn’t just about raw mana or refined skill. It demands intimate awareness of your signature, your flow."
"Only by weaving mana through muscle, nerve, and bone can one become not just a wielder of magic but a living conduit of it."
After the long explanation, a student hesitantly raised his hand.
"If attuning to one’s frequency is all it takes, then why can’t someone use two techniques at once? I’ve always heard it’s impossible, but maybe that’s just because we’re too weak. Surely the Principal or the heads of the Great Families can do it, right?"
The instructor smiled, though his eyes dimmed slightly.
"It’s an interesting question and a common misconception."
He stopped at the front again and folded his arms.
"The simple answer is no. Not even the most powerful Slayers can truly use two different techniques at the same time. They may appear to, but it’s merely rapid switching, not simultaneous execution."
"Every technique forms a unique frequency circuit inside the body. Attempting to run two techniques at once is like trying to play two clashing melodies on the same instrument at the same time."
