    There are no 'endless tournaments' lol. Only a few private tests were held between military candidates.And yes, it seems that the novel has op mc that surprises everyone with his power, but its not bad. And then there's the mysterious power which enables the mc to go 10000 years in the future.

    Are you telling me, there's a novel where techniques IMPROVE over time and do not degrade?
    Some people compare this to “I Highjacked the Timeline (IHTT)”, and while I’ll say that the premise is similar as both novels have the mc going into the far future where their countries were destroyed by beasts, there are many differences. Here I will explain a few of the differences -> Spoiler For example I just feel like the people in this novel are too annoying, there are generic arrogant characters everywhere. Like literally every character underestimates the mc and they easily feel jealously, hatred, and other bad emotions, in comparison to IHTT, where every genius is celebrated and you can feel the pride in every characters souls where they would put their life’s on the line against the monsters. Even the random characters are like that (it seems). But here the characters are still killing each other, like there’s no urgency coming from anyone other than the military people. This is just an example, and also the mc doesn’t seem to pass any of his techniques he finds from the future to the public (at least as of now, but he doesn’t seem like he will), but I don’t blame him since there’s no unity in the country. I just feel like if he did that like in IHTT, he might have been able to increase the level of humanity’s strength, which would in turn increase the strength of the future techniques. But maybe he can’t do so, as the setting is different compared to IHTT as everyone is able to submit techniques they make to an institute where they would reward anyone who makes good techniques. Maybe here there’s no platform for him to submit his techniques, idk. It seems he wants to become a powerhouse of his own and save humanity, while compared to IHTT, the mc wants all of humanity to get stronger and he also cultivates many geniuses and seems to be making an organization. Id also say this novel is also much more lighthearted as ‘IHTT’ seems to have a lot more despair and mystery. Plus IHTT has more chapters, but also some more nonsense. Lastly, the mc here is much more calm and mature then the IHTT mc but he seems much more bland as well. Not very memorable Anyway, both novels are good imo but if I didn’t read IHTT first I wouldn’t have found so many ‘problems’ with this novel. I’d recommend reading either one.
