Di Fuyi held her little hand that was clenched and said, "Let’s go back inside first."
"Okay!" Gu Xijiu teleported back inside with Di Fuyi. The two stood in front of the starry array again to try to figure it out. Upon contemplation, Gu Xijiu said, "Let’s destroy this starry array! We must stop all the trouble it is causing!"
When she was just about to perform a spell, Di Fuyi quickly grabbed her hand. "Hold on!"
"Hmm?"
"This array also supports the wizardry barrier outside the place. The Bloody Rain is raging outside right now. If we destroy it, the people of this city will be sacrificed."
Gu Xijiu was stunned by his remark, and sweat started pouring all over her forehead. She had completely forgotten about the people in the city. She rubbed her eyebrows in disappointment and wondered what had happened to her recently. She was not as sharp as she used to be in the past.
As she could not destroy it, for the time being, she gazed at the starry array trying to figure out her next move. She was somewhat unhappy by the sight and asked, "Are we going to let the bats continue to hurt the people and animals here?"
Di Fuyi was silent for a moment. He had been devising a plan the whole time. "I can try to rearrange the starry array; perhaps, I can support the wizardry barrier while and also stop the bats from going out of control."
Gu Xijiu’s eyes were gleaming with inspiration. She was surprised that Di Fuyi was so knowledgable. "Did the Divine Lord teach you this?"
