Chapter 2472: Rearranging The Starry Array
Many black shadows were flying around the place all of a sudden, and Gu Xijiu’s hands turned cold almost instantly.
Those shadows were young Bloody Bats! There seemed to be more than a thousand of them flying around the galaxy replica as if they were trying to absorb something. However, they must have been alarmed by something in the vicinity because they suddenly flew out of the area all at once, which felt as though a whirlwind was leaving the place.
Gu Xijiu held her breath the entire time as she watched the bats exit the place from where she and Di Fuyi were standing. Had they not teleported away in time, they would have to face the wrath of the bats head-on. Instead, they were now in hiding in a quiet part of the array. To ensure their safety, Di Fuyi had cast a spell to conceal their breaths so that the bats would not be able to track them.
Was this the home of the Bloody Bats? Where were they off to this time? Gu Xijiu and Di Fuyi looked at each other in hopes that the other would have a clue. Gu Xijiu asked, "Should we follow the bats?"
Di Fuyi was looking at the starry array and did not know what to think. Being lost in his thoughts, he did not even hear Gu Xijiu. Hence, she poked his waist and asked, "What’s wrong?"
Di Fuyi regained his senses and whispered to her, "This starry array seems to be a bit familiar." He was certain that he had seen it somewhere but possibly in a slightly different arrangement. When he saw the ’stars,’ he had a sudden urge to rearrange them. It was as if something possessed him to put things in order.
He turned to ask Gu Xijiu, "When you were on Earth, did you ever make any starry arrays?"
