Vampire's Veil Of Obsession

Chapter 104: Reward..

As if that wasn’t shocking enough, the man stood from his seat, gave a slow bow, and then turned to leave. Lilia’s eyes remained fixed on him, her curiosity piqued. Suddenly, Zethan’s expression darkened slightly at her gaze. He moved his hand gently, holding her chin and turning her face to his side. He spoke quietly.

"Go on,wife. Eat," he said, as he passed the fruit to her.

Now, Lilia was beginning to grow even more curious.

’Who was that man? Did he hear her?’

She was certain that she had only whispered—no, it wasn’t even a whisper; she had barely mouthed the words. How had he heard her? Was it possible he was truly the vampire?

She should have reached out and asked Zethan, but then again, she wasn’t sure if he would tell her. He had already informed her that vampires will also be attending.

Lilia decided to take the fruit, and that was all she needed to do. She didn’t want to overeat, even though Zethan kept placing steak and food on her plate.

She quietly ate the fruit. Once she was done, she gently moved her hands, softly tapping Zethan on the hands—a silent sign that she had finished and was now waiting for him. But the moment her fingers rested on his, he turned to her, offering a calm look.

Without a word, he stood up. All eyes fell on him, yet he paid them no mind. Instead, he reached out, taking her hand—hers still resting in his—and then lifted her gently. With an elegance that commanded the room, he led her toward the exit. No one dared to speak or move as he passed. His presence alone was enough to keep the room still.

Outside, licas stood, holding a card. He bowed as they approached as he spoke in his usual, calm professional voice.

"Boss. Mrs Lilia. This way," he said, leading them toward the elevator.
