Vampire's Veil Of Obsession

Chapter 103: The Event

Both Zethan and Lilia approached the door. Just as it opened, Zethan suddenly stopped.

Lilia looked up at him, her brows knitting in confusion. ’Why did he halt?’ she wondered.

Then, Zethan turned his head, his gaze narrowing and darkening as it locked onto a particular car parked just a short distance away. The sudden shift in his demeanor startled her. Lilia began to turn her head to look as well, but Zethan gently held her hand in his, caressing her fingers with soothing assurance.

"Let’s go," he said softly.

Her attention snapped back to him, sensing the change in the atmosphere, and she nodded. Then, together, they stepped into the castle.

The moment they entered the hall, Lilia’s eyes widened in awe. The space buzzed with life. Men dressed in identical dark blue suits moved gracefully about, yet each man somehow maintained an air of individuality. Their wives stood beside them—elegant, poised—hands intertwined, exchanging soft laughter and quiet conversations.

It was dazzling.

At the far end of the hall, Lilia noticed something even more remarkable. Personal guards and maids that were assigned to the CEOs and their wives, all moving in precise lines. Each group carried boxes and items in an organized, steady, and professional rhythm. It was like watching a carefully choreographed performance—different guards, different assistants, different maids—but all flowing with such unified grace.

The CEO’s designated box at the end stood out—arranged in a flawless, straight formation.

Lilia’s curiosity piqued as she leaned closer to Zethan.

"Is this how it always is?" she asked quietly.
