Vampire's Veil Of Obsession

Chapter 78: I Bite

Lilia mind went blank, overwhelmed by an unfamiliar, intoxicating ecstasy. She never imagined something as simple as chocolate could become this intimate.

As Zethan kissed her, the chocolate melting between their mouths, it felt like a slow, teasing exchange—a game of sorts, but far more intense.

Just when she thought she had adjusted to the sensation, Zethan deepened the kiss, reclaiming the chocolate that had softened against her tongue—only to return it to her moments later. The back-and-forth play left her breathless, her senses heightened beyond reason. A soft sound escaped her lips before she could stop it, but at this point, she hardly cared. Zethan’s tongue traced over hers, his movements deliberate, leaving her both stunned and utterly lost in the moment.

As the last traces of chocolate disappeared, he pulled away, his gaze fixed on her. Slowly, he licked his lower lip, where remnants of the treat still lingered. The sight of his tongue sent a shiver down her spine. How could something so simple feel so sinful? Even the way he tasted chocolate seemed to make him look...

Lilia swallowed hard, unable to believe where her thoughts were going. Ever since she had met this man, it was as if her mind no longer belonged to her. She felt things—new, confusing things—things she wasn’t sure she should.

Before she could steady herself, Zethan leaned in again. This time, he licked at her chin, dragging his tongue upward in a slow, heated trail until he reached her lips. A quiet gasp left her, her lips parting instinctively. He took advantage of that, brushing over them in slow, circular motions before finally pulling away.

Her eyes widened, her breath unsteady. Had all of that really just happened over a piece of chocolate?

Zethan smirked, his voice deep and full of promise. "We’ll continue this once we get back. We have plenty of time."

His words barely had time to settle before his expression darkened. In one swift motion, before Lilia could process what was happening, his hands were at her waist. Then, effortlessly, he lifted her as though she weighed nothing at all.

Her breath hitched. How was that even possible? She barely had time to react before she found herself seated on the plush leather of the car. The ease with which he handled her sent a wave of uncertainty through her—was she really that weightless to him? Or was it just another display of his impossible strength?

And then, she noticed it—the chauffeur was approaching.
