Chapter 106: Movements behind the curtains
Seeing the beautiful face in front of him, Elliot raised his right hand and caressed her face, gently brushing her hair back behind her head.
"Are you sure about what you’re saying?" he asked.
His gestures left Jenna stunned for several minutes.
"Yes," she nodded after coming out of her daze. "I’m completely sure."
Elliot curved his lips slightly and couldn’t resist smiling.
"My father once told me that I couldn’t leave a woman without an answer when she revealed her feelings to me," he said suddenly. "But I don’t know how I should respond either."
He moved a little closer to her. "So..."
Then he returned her kiss. It was awkward, too; it was his first time. But it was full of feelings.
Jenna was amazed by this beautiful gesture, but she didn’t know what else to do. Although she had told herself that she had to see it through to the end, when she found herself here, she could only admire him and lean against him. Completely expressionless.
Elliot hugged her gently. He didn’t know what to say either.
They were both total novices who had to learn every step of the way. Still, they both enjoyed this beautiful moment together, looking at the stars.
