Then—contact.
Daniel was sitting in his office, oblivious, staring at a wall of error messages flooding his screen. Panic lined his face. The game was out of control, and every attempt to shut down the servers had failed. He leaned forward, sweat dripping from his brow as he typed in emergency override codes.
Darius smirked.
"You shouldn’t have tried that."
