Chapter 1375: Under Surveillance
After receiving new information from the Hamilton family, Noxcra agents immediately passed the information to the Archknights. Since Sean Lockwood’s investigation task were assigned to Clift, it was his job to follow up on the information.
Clift had indeed arrived in Eagle Rock City a few days ago, but did not immediately meet with the Hamilton family because of his cautious nature, he decided to monitor the situation around the Hamilton family first.
In a fancy restaurant, Clift disguises himself as an office worker. He changes his hair color to a common dark brown then he changes his healthy brown skin into a pale white skin mimicking an office worker who rarely exposed to the sun.
He adds thick glasses to make him look nerdy and plain then pretends to be uncomfortable as if he doesn’t belong in this upscale restaurant.
Every now and then would he looks up then turns towards the door behind him as if he is waiting for someone, then he sighs and adjusts his thick-rimmed glasses, and lowers his head back to his tablet.
Clift’s disguise involves not only appearance but also behavior and attitude. This is a basic training taught to every Noxcra agent including Lory and Lucas to avoid attention and deceive the enemy.
From the cheap suit he was wearing, his awkward movements, and his nearly empty coffee cup, one would not doubt that he must be an ordinary office worker who was probably forced to come to this place to serve his boss or wait for his clients.
A person like him was not uncommon in a place like this, no one questioned his strange behavior because people assumed he must not used to a high-end place like this and eventually people would ignore him, even the waiters would stop paying attention to him since he was not a potential customer, anyway. Before long he became invisible and no one would notice or remember him.
Suddenly a tall, big man wearing a white shirt and expensive-looking khaki pants entered the restaurant, but he covered his face with a mask and a flat cap so it was difficult to recognize him other than his platinum blonde hair.
However judging from his stylish outfit, posture, and demeanor the trained employee of the restaurant could guess he must be someone famous, and immediately they attitude changed.
