Samuel ignored Jack’s inquisitive look, he turned his head to Maddy, "Maddy, there’s more coming, we have to go!" he held out his hand.

Maddy clenched her fists, she looked at Jack with a complicated gaze. She wasn’t ready to leave but all of this happened because of her, the Guild was burned down, and she didn’t know if anyone who worked there was alive or dead even Jack almost died too. She could handle anything that was thrown at her but not risk Jack’s safety.

Tears welled up in her eyes, she wished she didn’t have to go but too many people would get hurt because of her and she didn’t want Jack to be one of them.
