The dragon's harem

Chapter 2279: Hiding Like His Mother

Amaterasu looked at the forming Gravastar and smiled. "I doubt that will trap Vorvadoss for long. A Gravastar’s mass is concentrated in the thin but durable shell. All of that mass twists and bends the fabric of space and time beyond repair, so it should theoretically work for a while."

Far below, Kayden and the Avatar were already fighting, so Yog sighed. "All of them are having fun, and we’re just sitting here, doing nothing."

The two avatars standing there looked at her, and one of them chuckled. "We could fight as well."

She looked at him for a second, and then shrugged. "We can’t do that, can we?" She then shifted her gaze toward the second Avatar. "If we fight here, many would die. As much as I want to tear you apart, it’s a stupid idea for us to fight here."

She waved her hand, summoned a fancy table, and took a seat. "If I let my Forbidden knowledge leak out, many would just perish, and if Amaterasu summoned a star, that would cause as many deaths. You wouldn’t have dared to show up in front of us with just two avatars if you weren’t certain we wouldn’t fight back."

"Of course." One of the avatars crossed his arms. "It would help me a lot if you two just sat still and did nothing, but it would help me far more if you started rampaging. Right, Amaterasu, don’t you want to fight? I’m pretty sure you don’t like sitting still and listening to your angels getting killed below."

Amaterasu floated up on her cloud, stretched her arms, and looked down with a smug smile. "If you made him cry, I’ll let you hit. Do whatever you want, however you want." As she looked down with a smile, the avatar was a bit confused.

"What are you talking about, star witch." As the avatar looked up at her for a second, he immediately felt that something was off.

"Hoo... I only have to violate this yellow bastard?" As that voice spoke behind the avatar, for the first time in eons, he had felt fear from someone who wasn’t AO. The one standing behind him was Gojo. "Yo, tentacle boy. Care to leave now, before I turn you into a bowl of seafood soup."

As the avatar turned as fast as he could back, and the second avatar rushed in to attack, Gojo got out of his Void Presence and grabbed the eldritch horror by the hood, punched him square inside his hood, and sent him flying back at blinding speed and immediately blasted the second avatar with a black hole.

As the two avatars were sent flying, Gojo appeared squatting on Amaterasu’s cloud, right beside her head. She smiled. "What? Want to do it here? Those two avatars are still alive."

He looked at her and smiled. "I don’t care about that. I can’t defeat those two with my current level of energy. Either give me the overgod’s portfolio now, or a few black holes to use as sources of energy."

Amaterasu sat up and giggled. "Well, sadly, you aren’t ready to handle that portfolio, and I don’t think that giving you a few black holes would help. But... what if I gave you one supermassive black hole? One that is the size of the mortal world."

"That works well... but give me a white hole with it. I know you have some stored somewhere." He reached down and rested his palm on her head so she could transfer the power to him.

One of Amaterasu’s archons growled. "You dare touch her without her permission?" As she glared at him, Gojo lifted an eyebrow and then chuckled. "If I can’t touch her, then how is she going to transfer the power to me?"

Amaterasu reached up with her hand, grabbed his palm, and pulled it down to her chest. "Don’t listen to her. They are overprotective." She then shook her head. "But do you really think that you can tame a white hole that big? It’ll rip your stomach open."

"Just give it to me, I’ll handle it. My stomach is special." As he replied, Amaterasu looked at his eyes, and she could see a powerful spark of divinity burning there. "I see... Lucy is in there."

"Very well, here you go. Two identical ones: a black hole and a white hole. Go give those two avatars hell." Gojo absorbed the two stars and jumped down from the cloud, landing right between the two avatars.

"Since when were you here? I’m certain that I had you blocked." One of the avatars growled, and Gojo laughed with a mocking giggle.

"You see... You set your barrier when the attack started so that no one would notice anything strange beforehand." He lifted a finger. "I came before that, when Eris called for backup. But I doubt you know of that."

"That shouldn’t have worked. I should’ve detected your presence and changed my plans... Did Linda do something? No... this feels awfully like something Murasaki would do."

Gojo waved his hand. "No, no, no, it’s nothing like that. I came with my Void Presence active, and I hid inside Yog until now."

The avatar could clearly tell that Gojo was buying time by talking for a reason, but he still couldn’t help but ask. He needed information to make sure Gojo didn’t slip past him again. "Even if you hid inside her with magic, I would’ve fished you out. You can’t use magic to hide while keeping Void Presence active."

Gojo crossed his arms, and Yog appeared, sitting on his shoulder. "Simple, I used size magic to make him small and hid him inside my throat. Since I always keep gems and enchanted items there with size magic, that’s how he slipped past your magic detection."

Gojo stretched. Now, the two stars inside him have stabilized. ^Lucy, how are you feeling?^ He asked, and she growled. ^Like I’ve eaten a bowl of hot peppers and then got punched in the guts. If I can rip my stomach out and throw it, I will do it.^

^How long can you keep them stable?^

^As much as you want, this pain isn’t enough to make me cry. Go for it.^ Lucy replied, and Gojo pointed a hand forward. "Let’s see, was it like this?"

[Quasar]

A blinding flash of light burst from his hand, and before the two avatars could know it, one of them was already blasted far away, and the other one was burned to ash. Of course, they recovered almost immediately and rushed back at Gojo to attack him, but it was then that real fight started.

Gojo slicked back his hair, pulled his space sword, and cracked his neck. "Now, to cook some octopus... or are you a calamari?"
